"I am reading a great book about the native Tlingit people of this area. The title is Jimmy Bluefeather. It is a very funny and wise book. The Tlingit believe every creature, plant, and place is connected and their reverence for these beliefs go back millennia. You came to mind when I read this quote from the book. I paraphrase, “ We are not human beings on a spiritual journey. We are spiritual beings on a human journey. We have but one purpose, to fulfill this life before death.” I believe you are on your path to fulfilling your life. I find you admirable as do your other patients I am sure."

WHAT IS KETOSIS?
Ketosis is simply a state at which the body is using ketones for fuel as opposed to glucose. Ketones are energy molecules in the blood. They come from two sources. One is the liver that converts fat to ketones. These are called endogenous ketones. The other source is from consuming them. These are called exogenous ketones. Your ancestors prized the fat and the organ meat in the animals they hunted and killed. They lived in ketogenic states. This pathway for producing energy makes a lot more physiological sense without the harmful side effects and inefficiency of using the glucose/insulin pathway for fuel. When you were born, you were in ketosis - it's the diet of the 60s and 70s that changed that. We're going to help you get back to a healthier lifestyle. |
Familiar with these? - allergies, weight gain, diabetes type 2, IBS, gut issues, memory loss, asthma, chronic fatigue, cancer, autoimmune disorders, joint pain, chronic sinus issues, seizure disorder, depression, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, sleep disorders, fibromyalgia, chronic headaches, and/or hormonal imbalances?
Achieving Mental Clarity, More Energy, and Profound Health
Generations didn’t have the technology or advancements in science we have today, but living in today’s world is difficult as well, especially for those who care about the quality of life for themselves, their children, their families, and their communities. People who are conscious and aware, and looking for an optimal and extraordinary life must deal with a changed internal and external environment.
The food chart suggested to the USDA by nutritional experts in 1992 featured fruits and vegetables as the biggest group, not breads. This chart was overturned at the hand of special interests in the grain, meat, and dairy industries, all of which are heavily subsidized by the USDA. If Americans followed the initial chart suggested, they would buy much less meat, milk, and bread. On the other hand, if they ate as the revised chart suggested, it "could lead to an epidemic of obesity and diabetes," as original composer of the food Pyramid”, Louise Light warned.
The 'Pyramid' emphasized eating more vegetables and fruits, less meat, salt, sugary foods, bad fat, and additive-rich factory foods. The USDA censored that research-based version of the food guide and altered it to include more refined grains, meat, commercial snacks and fast foods, only releasing their revamped version 12 years after it was originally scheduled for release.
And guess what we have today. According to the most recent data, adult obesity rates now exceed 35 percent in four states, 30 percent in 25 states and are above 20 percent in all states. Louisiana has the highest adult obesity rate at 36.2 percent and Colorado has the lowest at 20.2 percent.
Many Americans are aging at a faster rate biologically because of a leaky gut. Briefly, your small intestine is supposed to be the place where vitamins and minerals are absorbed into the blood stream, but a “leaky gut” happens when the semi-permeable wall starts to allow toxins and undigested food into the blood stream.
Your average 50 to 65-year-old has a big decrease in mental function, sleep quality, and energy levels with fatigue. It affects your mood with depression and anxiety disorders. It also has an impact on sex drive and relationships. For the first time in history, we will be faced with a cancer rate of one in every two people. We have a massive epidemic of rapid aging, and it boils down to a story of chronic inflammation. The clear majority of that inflammation is coming from the gut.
Living a healthy lifestyle is about an internal biome that is fully functioning and flourishing, and having a sharp, cognitive functioning brain. It’s about following a KetoClean Lifestyle, using the proprietary KetoClean Lifestyle Program by Linda Huxtable.
And there's more - much, much more! Read our KetoClean Lifestyle Manifesto and discover the seven steps to mental clarity, more energy, and better health!
In the KetoClean Lifestyle Manifesto, I’m going to share an extraordinary blueprint that pieces together all the separate wellness conversations into an
integrated approach for living a vibrant, healthy and energetic life.
This blueprint focuses on the following key areas to getting you back on the Highway to Health:
• Leaky Gut
• Inflammation
• Heavy Metals
• Oral Health
• Thermography
• Ketosis
• Optimal Health Technologies
Our health journey starts with the body’s “second” brain – the gut. This command and control center for both vitamin and mineral absorption, as well
as environmental and food toxin / detoxification (which we’ll address later), is the foundation for optimal health.
